I'm just a girl standing in front of the Elena of Avalor S3 timeline begging for it to make even a little logical sense.
#elena of avalor#honestly the only way it does is if we assume that the various avaloran holidays take place in radically different months#than their real-world counterparts#like if we assume that carnaval matches its real world equivalent#"the magic within' takes place in feb-march#but the very next episode is the final dias de los muertos one#which by real world standards is beginning of november#so you're telling me that after the massive fallout of carnaval; absolutely nothing happened for like 7-10 months(!)#and then pretty much all of the next few important episodes happen b/w Nov and Dec (assuming hannukah is also at its real world time)#so like elena spends an intense period of like 1-2 months being just completely fixated on esteban#(i mean girl; same but come on)#after having spent like nearly a year forgetting he even exists?#and then has her nice little winter holiday break#and forgets about him for a month or two in between#only to just suddenly without much logical reason just become obsessed w/ him and ash again for an ep or two#and then forgets about him again#because the plot demands it#i mean like tbf all the flores cousins read to me as neurodivergent to some degree#so i guess it makes a little sense that she'd fall in and out of hyperfocus and get distracted by other fun things#but like i feel like the situation is a bit more intense/important/demanding than just a regular special interest waxing and waning a bit#i mean the real answer is that at least some of the filler episodes were aired waaaayyy out of order#maybe we're meant to see carnaval as not actual carnaval time? but like a big random party in like july or aug??#so like elena still ignores the plot for way too long but at least its like less than 6 months and not more#and it is making plotting s3 era fic very very hard#since it's very tricky to find the right spot to set things

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
October 28, 2024
Heather Cox Richardson
Oct 29, 2024
On Monday, October 28, 1929, New York’s Metropolitan Opera Company opened its forty-fifth season.
Four thousand attendees in their finest clothes strolled to the elegant building on foot or traveled in one of a thousand limousines to see Puccini’s Manon Lescaut, the melodramatic story of an innocent French girl seduced by wealth, whose reluctance to leave her riches for true love leads to her arrest and tragic death. Photographers captured images of the era’s social celebrities as they arrived at opening night, their flash bulbs blinding the crowd that had gathered to see the famous faces and expensive gowns.
No one toasting the beginning of the opera season that night knew they were marking the end of an era.
At ten o’clock the next morning, when the opening gong sounded in the great hall of the New York Stock Exchange, men began to unload their stocks. So fast did trading go that by the end of the day, the ticker recording transactions ran two and a half hours late. When the final tally could be read, it showed that an extraordinary 16,410,030 shares had traded hands, and the market had lost $14 billion. The market had been uneasy for weeks before the twenty-ninth, but Black Tuesday began a slide that seemingly would not end. By mid-November the industrial average was half of what it had been in September. The economic boom that had fueled the Roaring Twenties was over.
Once the bottom fell out of the stock market, the economy ground down. Manufacturing output dropped to levels lower than those of 1913. The production of pig iron fell to what it had been in the 1890s. Foreign trade dropped by $7 billion, down to just $3 billion. The price of wheat fell from $1.05 a bushel to 39 cents; corn dropped from 81 to 33 cents; cotton fell from 17 to 6 cents a pound. Prices dropped so low that selling crops meant taking a loss, so struggling farmers simply let them rot in the fields.
By 1932, over one million people in New York City were unemployed. By 1933 the number of unemployed across the nation rose to 13 million people—one out of every four American workers. Unable to afford rent or pay mortgages, people lived in shelters made of packing boxes.
No one knew how to combat the Great Depression, but certain wealthy Americans were sure they knew what had caused it. The problem, they said, was that poor Americans refused to work hard enough and were draining the economy. They must be forced to take less. “Liquidate labor, liquidate stocks, liquidate the farmers, liquidate real estate,” Treasury Secretary Andrew Mellon told President Herbert Hoover. “It will purge the rottenness out of the system. High costs of living and high living will come down. People will work harder, live a more moral life. Values will be adjusted, and enterprising people will pick up the wrecks from less competent people.”
Slash government spending, agreed the Chicago Tribune: lay off teachers and government workers, and demand that those who remain accept lower wages. Richard Whitney, a former president of the Stock Exchange, told the Senate that the only way to restart the economy was to cut government salaries and veterans’ benefits (although he told them that his own salary—which at sixty thousand dollars was six times higher than theirs—was “very little” and couldn’t be reduced).
President Hoover knew little about finances, let alone how to fix an economic crisis of global proportions. He tried to reverse the economic slide by cutting taxes and reassuring Americans that “the fundamental business of the country, that is, production and distribution of commodities, is on a sound and prosperous basis.”
But taxes were already so low that most folks would see only a few extra dollars a year from the cuts, and the fundamental business of the country was not, in fact, sound. When suffering Americans begged for public works programs to provide jobs, Hoover insisted that such programs were a “soak the rich” program that would “enslave” taxpayers, and called instead for private charity.
By the time Hoover’s term ended, Americans were ready to try a new approach to economic recovery. They refused to reelect Hoover and turned instead to New York Governor Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who promised to use the federal government to provide jobs and a safety net to enable Americans to weather hard times. He promised the American people a “New Deal”: a government that would work for everyone, not just for the wealthy and well connected.
As soon as Roosevelt was in office, Democrats began to pass laws protecting workers’ rights, providing government jobs, regulating business and banking, and beginning to chip away at the racial segregation of the American South. New Deal policies employed more than 8.5 million people, built more than 650,000 miles of highways, built or repaired more than 120,000 bridges, and put up more than 125,000 buildings.
They regulated banking and the stock market and gave workers the right to bargain collectively. They established minimum wages and maximum hours for work. They provided a basic social safety net and regulated food and drug safety. And when World War II broke out, the new system enabled the United States to defend democracy successfully against fascists both at home—where they had grown strong enough to turn out almost 20,000 people to a rally at Madison Square Garden in 1939—and abroad.
The New Deal worked so well that common men and women across the country hailed FDR as their leader, electing him an unprecedented four times. Republican Dwight D. Eisenhower built on the New Deal when voters elected him in 1952. He bolstered the nation’s infrastructure with the Federal-Aid Highway Act, which provided $25 billion to build 41,000 miles of highway across the country; added the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare to the government and called for a national healthcare system.
Eisenhower nominated former Republican governor of California Earl Warren as chief justice of the Supreme Court to protect civil rights, which he would begin to do with the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision months after joining the court. Eisenhower also insisted on the vital importance of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to stop the Soviet Union from spreading communism throughout Europe.
Eisenhower called his vision “a middle way between untrammeled freedom of the individual and the demands of the welfare of the whole Nation.”
The system worked: between 1945 and 1960 the nation’s gross national product (GNP) jumped by 250%, from $200 billion to $500 billion. The vast majority of Americans of both parties liked the new system that had helped the nation to recover from the Depression and to equip the Allies to win World War II.
Politicians and commentators agreed that most Democrats and Republicans shared a “liberal consensus” that the government should regulate business, provide for basic social welfare, promote infrastructure, and protect civil rights. It seemed the country had finally created a government that best reflected democratic values.
Indeed, that liberal consensus seemed so universal that the only place to find opposition was in entertainment. Popular radio comedian Fred Allen’s show included a caricature, Senator Beauregard Claghorn, a southern blowhard who pontificated, harrumphed, and took his reflexive hatred of the North to ridiculous extremes. A buffoon who represented the past, the Claghorn character was such a success that he starred in his own Hollywood film and later became the basis for the Looney Tunes cartoon rooster Foghorn Leghorn.

festivals of thedas!!
five major holidays are celebrated all across thedas "from tevinter to ferelden", tied to the transition of seasons. (they are generally in the andrastian tradition, and have links to tevinter culture considering its widespread imperialism and influence.) i'm going to talk about what we know from the lore and also what i think the real world inspirations are, but i'm not the most knowledgeable person on that specifically, so if anyone has extra contributions especially for the latter, or thoughts of what their own cultural background might bring to some of these, i would love that!!
first day is celebrated, naturally, on the first day of the year! in the january equivalent month of wintermarch/verimensis. on this holiday, you visit family and neighbours, which in remote areas was once literally just an annual check that everyone was alive. there's a town gathering to commemorate the past year, with drinking and merriment, of course. celebrating the start of a new year is one of the oldest traditional holidays in the world. i might compare the tradition of making visits to scotland's 'first-footing' on hogmanay (new year's eve), where the first person who enters a home is a bringer of fortune (and gifts!). in scotland it should specifically be a dark-haired man to ensure good luck, but there are similar practises in other places with different standards
wintersend is a festival for the end of winter, celebrated at the end of the february equivalent, guardian/pluitanis. originally called "urthalis" and dedicated to urthemiel, old god of beauty and the archdemon from dao, it now celebrates the maker. i would imagine for both it stood to thank them as the bounty and plenty of creation returned to the world. we have some information on how it varies between regions. in the south, it is a day to gather, trade, arrange marriages, and attend theatre. in tevinter, it marks great tourneys and contests at the proving grounds in minrathous. nevarra, too, has "particularly grand" wintersend tournaments.
summerday (you begin to see how creative these names are) honours, you guessed it, the beginning of summer, celebrated at the beginning of may, or bloomingtide/molioris. apparently universally celebrated as a time for joy and marriage, which may explain why it was once called andoralis and sacred to andoral, old god of unity. time for those marriages the southerners arranged at wintersend to be celebrated! but most specifically, it's the day for coming of age. there's no details on at what age this occurs, and it may vary across thedas, but on summerday boys and girls wear white tunics and gowns in a grand procession to the local chantry to be taught the responsibilities of adulthood there. so most characters raised andrastian probably went through this! lots of cultures have coming of age celebrations but i'm not super familiar with them personally as my own is lacking, so i would love to have other people's takes on what else this might involve and if you see any similarities!!
funalis is now much better known in thedas as all soul's day, since after the first blight its original associations with dumat, the old god of silence, became rather unpopular. it's now spent in sombre remembrance of the dead. in some northern lands (i would expect this to be mainly acceptable in tevinter), there are parades after midnight where the people dress as spirits, which sounds so fucking cool, by the way, WHAT does that look like in the cultural imagination. in the south, it memorialises the death of andraste, with public bonfires to mark her death on the pyre, and religious plays depicting the events. all of this is obviously influenced by the real world all souls' day, a christian commemoration of the departed on 2 november, and i suspect visuals of the mexican day of the dead are being called up for the parades. however, funalis is actually celebrated at the start of august/matrinalis, which is equivalent to... you know... august. thedas gets an early start on spooky season i guess? for the southern andrastian stuff i would look at the history of miracle plays and catholic festivals
lastly, satinalia is a holiday accompanied by wild celebration, the wearing of masks, and naming the town fool as ruler for a day. it was once dedicated to zazikel, the old goddess of freedom, but is now more attributed to satina, thedas' second moon. this is very obviously linked to the ancient roman festival of saturnalia, which involved a similar switching of roles for the day, with slaves having the banquets and freedom of speech their masters would normally enjoy, and the rules changing for the day on how dress indicated rank, potentially including mask-wearing. you can see why the goddess of freedom was relevant. it's also been connected to later traditions like the british 'lord of misrule', which could be an influence too! there are many other festivals of masks to look to, as well. satinalia is celebrated at the beginning of firstfall/umbralis, which is november. in antiva, it last for a week or more, while a week of fasting follows. in others, it's marked by large feasts and the giving of gifts.
these are the festival days celebrated in all of thedas (in andrastian culture, at least), and there are likely many more regionally. for example, there's a delightful page in world of thedas vol 2 outlining all nevarra city's entertainments throughout the year, including ancestral pageants of the dead in the autumn, and winter styles of dance that mimic dragon hunting featuring armoured dress and fluttering red cloth, likely inspired by the pasodoble's mimicry of bull and matador. every place and culture in thedas surely has their own, and their own variations on the shared festivals above
i would loveeee if people included these more in their thoughts and fics and hcs. let your beloved characters get engaged at wintersend and remember their coming of age on summerday and dress up for parades!! pls. for my health.

Me thinking about how colleen hoover's 'romances' would be twisted into aro stories instead
I already made one for 'ugly love' here though I can twist the others too
(tw for incest mentions)
Like imagine in verity, both the main character and the 'villain' are both aroallos with the 'villain' only being sexually attracted to Jeremy and hated being pregnant not because of the kids taking Jeremy's attention away from her but that it would actually complicate their relationship into being more committed as oppose to their relationship being more loose, her not wanting to lose Jeremy and pressure from their families/community, she proceeds to have kids which sinks her relationship with Jeremy more until she just snaps as she realizes that Jeremy doesnt see sex as she did anymore, rather than a fun thing they do, he now sees it as a way to make babies and shes sick of it. The main character (being lowen) would be the same and start off as terrible towards verity but in the end, begins to understand her when she too realizes Jeremy used her as a replacement to verity and her baby making, leaving her to decide on what she should do to get out of this trap shes now in. Hell, instead of making the main character based around Jeremy, why not base it around verity and we see her perspective on the world through the book. Hell, the book itself could be commentary on what people would see as the villain instead of what an actual villain is (e.g, someone who prefers only sex as oppose to someone pressuring someone to fit their standards for humans like them) with the real villain in the 'villain pov' being of the so called 'hero' (which can also mirror lowen and verity)
November 9 could've been around 2 people that had scars from their own past (instead of it being one causing the other scars in the past) and as they do their grand meet up once a year, they explore what makes them comfortable in a relationship before deciding that their perfectly fine with their relationship being undefined and not needing to be fit into boxes
Without merit could've genuinely be a family drama with the main character being aro as she wonders why sex is so important and even asks her step uncle this (though never ask him to do that with her, god no) since he views it as no big deal to which he reveals to her on his aro identity and that she might be one too. I would've had her and her love interest come to terms but ultimately deciding to keep themselves distant to work on themselves. Also quick tangent, but there was no excuse to have her brother sleeping with the step uncle especially when she established early in the book that her ex broke up with her after he touched her breast. So wouldn't it make more sense for him to sleep with her ex because her ex could've broken up with her because he realized he's gay? Like that would at least make presumely the only queer/mlm relationship in her books a bit better than what we got
Idk what else to say but i find it really funny when people like colleen hoover will ignore aros existence meanwhile their romances are as deep as a school's carnival pool tbh

i noticed some people in the notes of this post are having trouble understanding this proposal which is understandable as it can be challenging to read technical documents like this, so i'm going to give a rundown of what this document is proposing and which vehicles it affects.
purpose of the proposal
the national highway traffic safety administration (NHTSA) is suggesting a new safety rule for cars and light trucks (up to 10,000 pounds) to reduce the risk of head injuries to pedestrians if they’re hit by these vehicles. this rule would require certain design features to make vehicle hoods safer for both children and adults who might be struck.
who It affects: this proposed rule applies to passenger cars, light trucks (like pickups), SUVs (the vehicle that killed my sister was an SUV, and passenger cars such as SUVs account for the most pedestrian deaths alongside other light trucks), vans, and small buses. vehicles over 10,000 pounds, like large trucks, are excluded. i'm seeing people saying this is too high since a lot of pickup trucks exceed 10,000 lbs, and i agree, hopefully this is just the beginning in a series of regulations. however, this doesn't give a great sense of what kind of trucks are included. most personal pickup trucks are class 1 or 2, this means they are under 10,000 pounds. some examples of trucks of these classes are the chevorlet colorado (class 1), ford f1-150 (class 2a), and thrillingly, the cybertruck (class 2b) would be subject to these regulations.
what the rule requires: vehicles would need to pass tests that show they can reduce the force of head impacts when a pedestrian’s head hits the hood. this means the vehicle design needs to absorb some of the impact to prevent severe head injuries.
test procedures: the proposal sets up testing methods that simulate pedestrian head impacts with the vehicle’s hood. these tests are performed with two types of “headforms” that replicate the weight and structure of a child’s and an adult's head, aiming to simulate real-world crash scenarios at a vehicle speed of 25 mph, which covers about 70% of pedestrian collisions.
performance requirements: vehicles would need to meet specific “head injury criteria” (HIC) to ensure the head impacts do not exceed certain force levels, helping prevent severe head trauma. this is measured by testing areas of the hood where a pedestrian’s head is most likely to strike.
compliance timeline: if the rule is finalized, manufacturers would have to comply starting two years after the final rule’s publication, with an extra year for specific vehicle builders (like those modifying pre-existing vehicles).
current vehicle exemptions: the rule would not cover large trucks and some vans with very short front hoods due to practical challenges in testing. a new test would need to be devised for these types of vehicles. however, NHTSA is considering including short-hood vehicles in the future.
related technologies: NHTSA also considers this rule part of a larger safety effort, which includes automatic emergency braking systems that can detect pedestrians and apply brakes to avoid collisions.
in essence, this proposal seeks to set a mandatory standard for pedestrian safety features on cars and light trucks, making them safer for pedestrians without requiring drivers or consumers to make any changes on their end.
your comment does not need to be long or professionally-worded, anything will do. however, if you need a jumping off point/don't have the time to write one i'm providing a template below. comments are due november 18th.:
"I am writing in strong support of this proposed rule, [I am deeply concerned about pedestrian safety in my community/I have seen firsthand the impact of pedestrian injuries/I lost a loved one in a pedestrian crash/I have had close calls myself when walking in my neighborhood.] The current design of many vehicles, particularly large trucks and SUVs, places pedestrians at serious risk. This is a common-sense ruling that could make a life-saving difference. I appreciate the effort to prioritize the safety of all road users, and I hope this rule will be implemented to help create safer, more walkable communities."
IF YOU LIVE IN THE US AND WOULD RATHER NOT DIE FROM BEING HIT BY A CAR
please submit a comment on the NHTSA proposal to implement pedestrian safety test requirements for cars and trucks!!
It would finally make manufacturers design vehicles that are safer for pedestrians and cyclists, instead of the massive wall-of-steel front ends that are excessively deadly for no reason. Europe already has rules like this, but unless we comment in approval, they're not going to do anything to halt the increasing pedestrian deaths in our country.
And please share, even if you don't live in the US!

And many of these 2957 also sold Dodge, so they could easily show the Dodge versions to interested buyers who did not want the Chrysler trim levels. When Mercedes evaluated Chrysler after the acquisition in 1998, the Plymouth brand was a logical sacrifice to save money and give the remaining brands unique attraction. Unit sales had been low for over a decade, less than half the equivalent Dodge model volumes, and the corporate executives calculated some level of network efficiencies to be had from canceling the Plymouth brand and streamlining the portfolios. After a year of internal discussions, the decision to end Plymouth was announced in November 1999. The last Plymouth brand Neon vehicles were produced in June 2001. The remaining brands had distinctive positions: Dodge (standard, performance), Jeep (SUV, fun), Chrysler (American luxury), and Mercedes (specialized European luxury), plus the super-luxury Maybach brand.

It was the headwaters of the Buret Hei. About one o’clock we stopped and began to feed our horses, as the grass just there was very good. Here we thought ourselves in safety. We saw many calming indications. On the mountains were seen the grazing herds of reindeers and yaks and approaching Soyots confirmed our supposition. Here behind the Tannu Ola the Soyots had not seen the Red soldiers. We presented to these Soyots a brick of tea and saw them depart happy and sure that we were “Tzagan,” a “good people.
The Officer Tatum Switch Up Shirt As Rugby Union starts to gather a bit of The Officer Tatum Switch Up Shirt in the US, some professional players from the rest of the world are beginning to come into it. One of the highest profile signings so far is probably Ben Foden, who has 34 appearances for England to his name. Ben has signed for Rugby United New York for the 2019 season. If club rugby gains a foothold in the USA, it may start to see American Football players, particularly those who play for their college but aren’t drafted to the NFL switching sports, as there is no real opportunity to play to a high standard and be paid after college outside the NFL that I’m aware of.

We almost have to go back and add end of s5/ the beginning of S6 proper to sort out some semblance of a timeline for S6:
5x19 was late may into June time reference for the impending summer plus having had american Mother’s Day / Betty’s graduation.
Then if we kinda disregard 6x01-6x05 even though time progressed we still technically end up with the 5x19 timeline even though its “fall” for some of the episodes.
6x06-6x11? Is supposedly summer time in theory but it was filmed in the fall / beginning of winter in real life in Vancouver. Its why in I believe in a lot of the exterior shots they are wearing thick jackets/ can see their breath at times.
6x12 - a calendar on Betty’s desk references the month of january (also indicating that barchie have been a couple for roughly 5/6 months at this point ? Idk but it makes the whole “what are we ?” Conversation starter seem cheap / the writers couldn’t find a true organic way for her to bring up the subject of possibly being pregnant. As well as the timing of their ILY coming seemingly late by conventional standards.
6x13 til end of season seems like late winter/ to approximately mid spring almost bordering on summer time?
Also we have to remember that I believe its from 6x18 i think it is, until the end of the season its literally only a handful of days that pass in world. Like there is a few references of from end of 6x18 to end of 6x19 it’s been like 2 days… then 6x20 is like possibly 1/2 days, 6x21 is like 1 day and then 6x22 is not really a full 24 hours.
So I guess if there was a pregnancy arc so to speak… she was 2 weeks late mid Jan. As I went back and checked the episode and it seemingly is like Jan 15th when she’s looking at her calendar and that night she tells him she’s 2 weeks late. Plus we know from further context that she’s not on the pill but they were using some form of protection besides that “one time”which us as the viewer has no context to truly. Which could have if we had seen any part of that interaction it could have deepened their relationship further as they both recall that moment meanwhile the audience is left like “EXCUSE ME WHEN WAS THAT?”. Anyway, meaning possibly around late november/early december.. is when it could have happened. Meaning that depending on when it would have happened… the baby would be like September / october? WHICH strangely enough in a way links to their 6x01 Vale plot of them conceiving in the “ fall time” as that is kinda when those episodes were plotted as in a strange way.
Just some random thoughts about the most unconventional plot timings hahaha
This ask made me realize just how chaotic Riverdale time is. But thank you for your effort and time to write all this out!!!
I agree that 5x19 is clearly in June but 6x06 already seems fall-ish? In my mind, 6x06-07 take place in summer and there’s a jump when Betty leaves that lands us closest to Fall.
I also think there’s a jump from 6x10-12, which lands us in winter.
All that to say, if Betty did in fact get pregnant and was around ~6 weeks~ mid January, she would’ve gotten pregnant late November/early December.
I agree it’s crazy Betty asks Archie if they are dating because they would’ve been together six months at this point! But I think she was super insecure and they had so much going that I kind of get it. Also, if you’ve ever dated a friend, I understand the transition can be weird. I also agree that “one time” haunts me and wish we could’ve seen it! I assume they were using condoms and simply ended up in a location where they didn’t have one. Betty was a bit silly to not be on birth control but that’s another conversation.
Allllll that to say, her baby (in this alternative timeline haha) would’ve been a late August/September baby. It’s interesting you mention Rivervale, because that’s an interesting possibly to tie everything together.
Thanks again for your thoughtful work. I will do my best to write the fic and bring it all together. I do feel that I have some flexibility with the timeline bc it’s Riverdale and all time is relevant :)

Bit Treasury Exchange: ETF Approvals and Halving
Entering December, executives in the global cryptocurrency industry are calling for the start of a new bull market, and more and more people are speculating that Bitcoin will reach a historic high of over $100000 in 2024.
Since the beginning of this year, Bitcoin has risen by over 120%, and many people are optimistic that its surge will continue until 2024.
"I feel that 2023 is a year of preparation for the upcoming bull market, and currently the market is very optimistic about the prospects for 2024 and 25," Ledger CEO Pascal Gothier said in an interview last week.
The last time this digital currency reached a record high of nearly $69000 was in November 2021.
Since then, the password industry has been hit by a series of problems, from the collapse of coins and projects to bankruptcy and criminal trials. FTX, once one of the world's largest exchanges, has collapsed, and its founder Sam Bankman Fried has been convicted of seven criminal fraud charges and faces over 100 years in prison.
Meanwhile, as part of a $4.3 billion settlement agreement with the US Department of Justice, Binance CEO Zhao Changpeng admitted to criminal charges and resigned as CEO.
Many industry insiders believe that the closure of these two cases has put an end to the problems plaguing the password market.
LightSpark CEO David Marcus said in an interview last week, "I think once you get out of the speculative phase, I think we've almost completed this phase, maybe not completely, and then you can focus real builders on technology and the problems that can be solved in the world, rather than just having a huge digital casino for people to trade."
Marcus was the former head of Facebook's failed Diem Stablecoin project and is currently researching technology to improve Bitcoin's position as a payment network.
These issues no longer exist, and investors are concerned about what the industry sees as positive developments. Firstly, people are increasingly excited to believe that Bitcoin Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) may soon be approved. This may bring in larger traditional investors who previously did not want to be exposed to cryptocurrencies.
"I think the true meaning of ETFs is that Bitcoin is becoming mainstream, and that's exactly what people expect," Gothier said.
The second progress is the halving of Bitcoin, which occurs every four years and is planned to take place in May 2024. Half reduction refers to miners - entities that support the Bitcoin network - seeing their return on work halved. This maintains the upper limit on the supply of Bitcoin - Bitcoin will always only have 21 million coins - and is often a factor behind the new round of gains.
"Many market participants expect a period of bull market after halving, but considering the news of ETFs, we are likely to see a bull market before that, leaving most investors on the sidelines. This could lead to a significant increase in prices," said Vijay Ayar, Vice President of International Markets at CoinDCX, a cryptocurrency exchange.
There have been some bold calls for Bitcoin to rise in 2024. This began when Standard Chartered reiterated its pricing forecast for April last week, stating that Bitcoin would reach $100000 by the end of 2024. The bank stated that this will be driven by numerous ETF approvals.
According to Coin Desk's data, this will mean a price increase of approximately 160% from the close of approximately $38413 last Friday (December 1st).
Matrixport claims to be a cryptocurrency financial services company and released a report last week, predicting that Bitcoin will reach $63140 in April 2024 and $125000 by the end of next year.
"According to our inflation model, the macro environment is expected to continue to be a strong downwind for Crypto. Inflation is expected to decline again, prompting the Federal Reserve to potentially initiate interest rate cuts," Matrixport said in its report. "Coupled with geopolitical headwinds, this healthy monetary support should push Bitcoin to new highs in 2024."
Many analysts believe that loose monetary policy is beneficial for Bitcoin, which is considered a high-risk asset. At the same time, some people believe that Bitcoin is a "safe haven" asset that can invest large amounts of money during geopolitical conflicts.
When asked if Bitcoin would reach $100000 in 2024, Gothier said it was "possible" but refused to provide a price forecast. "What we see is strong fundamentals," he said.
Ayar said that the price of Bitcoin is "consolidating" below the "critical level" of $38000, which is more favorable compared to Bitcoin. He said that once it breaks through this level, Bitcoin may rebound to between $45000 and $48000 in the next step.
However, he warned that if the product is rejected by regulatory authorities again, this round of gains may fail. This round of gains is largely based on expectations of ETF approval. He said, "Refusing ETFs comprehensively may also cause serious damage to this round of gains, so there must be some things to pay attention to."

What are the latest trends in artificial intelligence for 2024?
After the launch off of ChatGPT in November 2022, 2023 denoted a defining moment in artificial intelligence. The previous year's turns of events, from a dynamic open source scene to modern multimodal models, have laid the basis for huge advances in artificial intelligence. In any case, albeit generative computer based intelligence keeps on enthralling the tech world, perspectives are turning out to be more nuanced and developed as associations shift their concentration from trial and error to genuine drives. The current year's trends mirror an extending refinement and mindfulness in AI development and deployment strategies, with an eye to morals, wellbeing and the developing administrative scene.

Here are the top AI trends to prepare for in 2024.
Multimodal AI
Multimodal AI goes past standard single-mode data taking care of to incorporate different data types, similar to text, pictures and sound - - a phase toward impersonating the human ability to manage different unmistakable information.
"The connection points of the world are multimodal," said Engraving Chen, head of edges research at OpenAI, in a November 2023 show at the social event EmTech MIT."We believe our models should see what we see and hear what we hear, and we accept they ought to in like manner make content that solicitations to more than one of our faculties."
Agentic AI
Agentic AI means a tremendous shift from open to proactive artificial intelligence. Computer based intelligence specialists are advanced systems that show freedom, proactivity and the ability to independently act. Not the least bit like ordinary man-made knowledge systems, which essentially answer client inputs and follow fated programming, PC based insight experts are expected to understand their ongoing situation, set forth targets and act to achieve those objectives without direct human intercession.
For example, in regular checking, a man-made knowledge expert could be ready to assemble data, analyze models and begin preventive exercises considering hazards like early signs of a forest area fire. Besides, a monetary computer based intelligence specialist could effectively deal with a venture portfolio involving versatile systems that respond to changing market conditions in real time.
Open source AI
Assembling huge language models and other strong generative simulatedAI systems is an exorbitant collaboration that requires goliath proportions of cycle and data. Regardless, using an open source model enables architects to develop top of others' work, diminishing costs and developing man-made consciousness access. Open source computerized reasoning is transparently available, ordinarily in vain, engaging affiliations and researchers to add to and develop existing code.
GitHub data from the earlier year shows an extraordinary development in engineer responsibility with PC based knowledge, particularly generative reproduced insight. In 2023, generative man-made knowledge projects entered the best 10 most well known projects across the code working with stage strangely, with errands, for instance, Stable Dispersal and AutoGPT pulling in a colossal number of first-time providers.
Retrieval-augmented generation
Although generative AI tools were broadly adopted in 2023, they continue to be tortured by the issue of pipedreams: possible sounding anyway off-base responses to clients' requests. This cutoff has acquainted an obstruction with enormous business gathering, where mental outings in business-fundamental or client defying circumstances could obliterate. Recuperation extended age (Cloth) has emerged as a strategy for diminishing brain flights, with potentially critical implications for big business man-made intelligence reception.
Customized enterprise generative AI models
Huge, all around valuable gadgets, for example, Midjourney and ChatGPT certainly stand sufficiently apart to be seen among buyers exploring generative PC based knowledge. Notwithstanding, for business use cases, more unobtrusive, meager explanation models could exhibit to have the most spine, driven by the creating interest for recreated insight systems that can meet specialty essentials.
While making one more model without any planning is conceivable, a resource concentrated idea will be far away for certain affiliations. To manufacture re-tried generative mimicked knowledge, most affiliations rather change existing man-made brainpower models - - for instance, tweaking their engineering or calibrating on a space explicit informational index. This can be more affordable than either fostering one more model beginning from the earliest stage contingent upon Programming interface to a public LLM.

Shadow AI
As representatives across work capabilities become intrigued by generative computer based intelligence, affiliations are defying the issue of shadow recreated insight: use of recreated knowledge inside a relationship without express underwriting or oversight from the IT division. This example is ending up being continuously overwhelming as reenacted insight ends up being more accessible, engaging even nontechnical experts to use it unreservedly.
Shadow AI regularly arises when workers need fast solutions for an issue or have to explore new development speedier than genuine channels license. This is especially typical for easy to-use computerized reasoning chatbots, which agents can assess in their web programs with little difficulty - - without going through IT review and approval processes.
Expanded thoughtfulness regarding simulated intelligence morals and security risks
The expansion of deepfakes and complex AI-generated created content delivered content is raising alerts about the potential for duplicity and control in media and regulative issues, as well as misrepresentation and various types of blackmail. Reenacted knowledge can similarly update the reasonability of ransomware and phishing attacks, making them seriously persuading, more convincing, more adaptable and harder to detect.
The technologies of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are principally the ever-increasing factors that have benefited all business domains and industries. Numerous leading software companies have taken advantage of the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning to meet the needs of various industry pioneers with great proficiency. Brill Mindz is a top Artificial Intelligence, AI and Mobile app development company in uae and Bangalore, India that has helped many top relationship in showing up at their goals explicitly spaces.

11/3/2023 DAB Chronological Transcription
Mark 11 and John 12
Today is the third day of November. Welcome to Daily Audio Bible Chronological. I'm Jill. Into a brand new month, which is incredibly exciting around here because we are approaching the holidays in the Americas and there's that chill in the air. Just things are about to happen and I don't know about you all, but I am just ready for some extra cheer and goodwill towards men and all of the things that come with holidays back-to-back at the end of the year here. Plus, it's just really exciting to think about. We are approaching a really significant goal of being through the Bible in chronological order in a year, and it's been life changing and I hope it has for you, too. Today we are reading the book of Mark chapter 11, and then we will shoot over to the book of John. Still in the gospels- Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are the four gospels, and then we're going to read John chapter 12. This week we're reading the English Standard version. So today we begin with Mark, Chapter 11.
Commentary:
I hope we hear the words of Jesus. This is Jesus speaking, if anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. This is Jesus again, these are the words of Jesus. Jesus did not come to judge the world. He specifies even the people that hear his words and does not keep them, he doesn't judge them. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. So my question is if Jesus himself is not judging people that hear his words even and choose to not listen, does not keep them, because we can be listening, but we can still not hear. If Jesus is not judging people then why are we? Why are we deciding who gets to be a Christian based on a vote? Based on a belief? Based on which side you're on? Who gets to decide based on theology? Based on denomination? Based on systemic beliefs? Why do we have an opinion? You can't be a Christian and do this. Who are we to say? You can be a real Christian, or you can be a true Christian, or you cannot be a Christian at all. If you do XY or Z. Why are we judging when even Jesus said, if you hear my words and do not keep them, I do not judge him. He clearly states his intentions. I came to save the world, not judge the world. I just wonder if we can hear this and maybe we can do better.
Prayer:
Jesus, we hear your words today and they compel us to repentance. Again, forgive us for how we have judged our neighbor instead of loving them. For we have judged complete strangers that we don't even know their name, but we have deemed them, judged them, condemned them, tossed them aside. We didn't even see their brokenness. We didn't even see their story because we were so consumed by their belief that differs than us. As your children, we have got to do better because the world watches us, and you said the world will know that we are yours by the love that we show one another. And we have been so consumed with being right that we have to make other people wrong so that we can sit in our self righteousness securing our rightness. And we are not giving an inch when it comes to loving people despite our differences. Oh father, help us. Help us do better. Help us remember these words, you came to save us. I ask that you would set us free from the shame, the judgment, the condemnation that we passed down and so freely give out instead of the love that we show. It is your kindness that leads us to repentance. We pray this in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Community Prayer Line:
Hello, Simone from Texas. This is Willie, which we're calling from the UK. Your call played on the 31st of October. And yeah, you mentioned that things are still not going well. You're still all over the place and you also mentioned that you are from the end of October to January is a moment of regrets. You know, regret of things you couldn't do with your sister who passed. My dear sister was led to tell you that you do not focus on the things that you could not do with your sister. Change that focus now and let it be on the things that you were able to do with your sister, no matter how little, no matter how insignificant it seems. Even if it's the fact that you could sit with her one day and I would laugh or crack up a smile. It's something. Focus on those positives. That's the only way to lift your spirits. If we focus on the things we could not do, what the things we have not been able to achieve, what the things we have lost, then we will be miserable. That's where depression comes in. Focus on the things that you were able to do. Happy birthday to baby promise. That's one thing you should look on to focus on that and be grateful to God for that. Focus on the fact that you are still alive. Focus on the fact that you are able to call into the DAB with a smile in your voice, even if you do not feel that smile in your spirit. Focus on that, my dear sister. You are alive. You are well. You are here. God can do everything but fail, according to our dear sister who always reminds us of that. I love you, sis. God bless you and remain blessed.
Hey y'all it's Kerry AKA Jesus girl, I just wanted to lift up KSD and hey y'all- hey Simone. This morning literally come to you on behalf of my brother Daniel and excuse me Lord I thank you that through the Fresno Angel that he was able to find out information about D2. And Lord, he's got this trip coming up to California, Lord and I just ask that you go before that you open doors. Lord that you soften D2's heart to be able to sit and listen and hear the words of a loving father, and to also hear you coming through Daniel, Lord, that it may speak to him that it may pierce, and that it may shine light into his darkness, Lord, and that it may draw him to you. And Lord, I also lift up our dear. Hey, y'all, hey Simone. Lord, be with our sweet sister and lift her up, Lord. Wrap your arms around her. Give her courage to continue to struggle through and Lord, I ask that you just ease that struggle, that you give her the rest that she needs, Lord, that you give her the direction that she needs, Father. That you work in a manner that makes it perfectly and abundantly clear to her, Lord, that you are at work in every bit of the situations that she's struggling with right now. Lord, we're gonna praise for the fact that Baby Promise has made it to a year old. That's awesome news. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. We know that first year can be. It's one that often ends early. And so Lord, we praise you that it didn't. That Baby Promise has continued to thrive once. Well, they just give you all the praise and all the honor and all the glory that we are going to see you work mightily in both of their situations and lives. Family, I love you, be blessed. Have a great day.
Good afternoon, DABC, this is A Gift of God calling in. A young man called in wanting us to pray for his friend or a little girl named Taylor. She's deaf, and that she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And that touched me so much because I remember when I received it. And I know what a powerful gift that God has given us. And it will be awesome. And I just want to pray for her. Heavenly Father, thank you for Taylor right now. Lord God, we ask you, Lord God, that you fill her, Lord, with your Holy Spirit, giving her the power to speak in tongues. Lord God, in the mighty name of Jesus, Lord God, Father, we thank you, Lord God, that you open up our ears. Lord God, that should be able to hear. Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, Father, we ask you that you bless the young man that called in for her as well, Father. And bless him, Lord God in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Bask in aespa's Digital Glow Step into aespa’s world and you’ll find yourself in a dimension beyond reality. Here in this pixelated wilderness, extraterrestrial flowers bloom in darkness and danger serpentines through the bush. There are no rules, no limits — just stars that plaster celestial mosaics in aubergine skies, illuminating the breadth of digital expanse. This is Kwangya, an intermediary metaverse at the center of aespa’s story. While it’s not unusual for K-pop acts to spawn entire universes and convoluted narratives, aespa’s concept is as real as it is fantastical. As AI chatbots continue to incite intrigue and anxiety in the public consciousness, and with people spending more time on their phones than ever in an endless loop of scrolling and liking, Kwangya begins to look less like an imaginary realm and more like an allegory for the virtual vastness of the internet. Online, anything is possible; it’s a place where you can exist outside of the confines of the real world, for better or worse. This is what makes aespa so singular, leader KARINA tells PAPER. They exist as both real-life idols and cyber-punk heroines with digital avatars algorithmically created from their data. For the purpose of this call, I’m talking to KARINA, GISELLE, WINTER and NINGNING, international pop phenoms and million-sellers; somewhere across time and space, their virtual personae — æ-KARINA, æ-WINTER, æ-GISELLE and æ-NINGNING — are wandering Kwangya. KARINA describes their æ members (pronounced like "eye") as their best friends, culled from their online identities and personal data. "They’re not our identical copies," she explains over Zoom, via an interpreter. "But they’re very similar to us." As their online extensions, the æs appear alongside aespa in music videos, promotional advertisements and more. Yet, beyond the mythology (of which there are entire primers you can read to further grasp the lingo), the women of aespa are more than just pixels on a screen. Truthfully, I can't even see them. They're pointedly camera-off for this interview, deep in preparation for their very first concert, SYNK: Hyper Line — a two-night stint at Seoul's Jamsil Arena. In a few days, WINTER will shock the on- and offline crowd with her electrifying guitar riffs; NINGNING will twerk across the stage; KARINA and GISELLE will debut new solo material; and they'll all get weepy when their fans softly serenade them. But right now it's still a hypothetical — a dream they've been working toward since they were trainees under SM Entertainment. Their first impressions of one another are still as vivid as the day they met: KARINA, tall and mysterious; GISELLE, charming and feminine; WINTER, small and shy; and NINGNING, quirky and bubbly. The chemistry was instant, having quickly bonded over the uncertainty of their situation. The standard idol trainee system is a notoriously difficult crash-course in singing, dancing, rapping and social media etiquette. It's long nights and early mornings, the kind of grind that makes you question how much you really want it. Surviving that makes every other challenge look small by comparison. "As we were preparing for the concert, I realized that the training period was a very significant and meaningful part of my life," NINGNING says. Youngest member NINGNING trained for five years before debuting with aespa in November 2020. "It's an opportunity for artists to grow individually as artists, where they work on their skills and develop certain assets," she says. "Because every idol goes through this training period before they debut, this is what makes K-pop artists so skillful," KARINA says. She's often called an all-rounder, or an idol who's proficient across all disciplines, from rapping to singing to standing out in a crowd. "I think this is why K-pop is such a phenomenon." They were all drawn to the entertainment industry at an early age. GISELLE was born in Seoul and attended international school in Tokyo, where she excelled in the arts. "That was the only thing I enjoyed doing in school," the 22-year-old metropolitan says. She grew up speaking Japanese, Korean and English, and her interest in languages led to her fondness for polyglot wordplay. After joining SM as a trainee, she developed her skills as a rapper and lyricist. Similarly, NINGNING always knew she wanted to perform. She competed in the second season of China's Got Talent at eight years old before becoming part of SM's pre-debut trainee team called SM Rookies a few years later. As a magnetic vocal prodigy, she "loved being on stage and interacting with the audience," the 20-year-old recalls. "The thrill of being on stage and doing what I like in front of a crowd is what motivated me to become an idol." The powerhouse vocalist sees this part of her career as a stepping stone to standing on even bigger stages. "When you're a K-pop idol, you definitely have a lot of opportunities to perform." Meanwhile, a kindergarten crush inspired WINTER to consider fame. "I grew up watching a lot of television," the 22-year-old says. "And I had a huge crush on the Korean actor Kwon Sang Woo. I told my mom that I wanted to marry him; she insisted that you have to become a celebrity if you want to marry another celebrity, so that really motivated me. I've also always been fascinated by people on stage, so eventually I realized I wanted to be there as well." WINTER's piercing vocals and cold expressions make her fascinating to watch. Like the title of their latest song, she can be both "Salty & Sweet." KARINA played three instruments in middle school: Piano, guitar and flute. She always loved music, but didn't think of it as anything more until she saw a televised performance of Girls' Generation's "Into the New World" in 2007. (And in a full-circle moment, she now performs alongside Girls' Generation members Taeyeon and Hyoyeon as a part of SM's rotational girl group, Girls on Top, with WINTER.) That image, of nine young women spinning and kicking in unison on stage, redefined how she saw idols. "When I think of the word 'idol,' I think of the verb 'idolize,'" the 22-year-old dancer says. "When you idolize someone, you look up to them and you're often inspired, or you look up to them out of admiration." Yet, that's just what you see on the surface. If she were to close her eyes and think of the word idol, a galaxy would appear inside her eyelids. The first picture she'd conjure up is a star. It twinkles and gleams, but you can never get close enough to see it for what it really is: a fiery orb of gas and space dust suspended in a distant void — too many lightyears away to actually perceive. "When you think of a star, which is what idols are often called, they shine and sparkle," she says. "They can be cold and also hot. There's an allure, but also a distance. So an idol is someone who expresses all of those emotions, good and bad and happy and sad. To the fans, we sparkle, but we're not always as bright as we seem to be." Celebrity is, in part, a beautiful illusion. Putting on a persona is part of the job. It's also the reality of being online in the 21st century, where we spend four to five hours a day on our devices compartmentalizing our personalities between platforms. They've hinted at this in their music. Their English single "Life's Too Short," which they debuted at Coachella in 2022, grapples with social media toxicity. "Some peoplе are so mean, all behind a phone screen," GISELLE sings, "when we're tryna live our lives." It's a rare moment of vulnerability from a group known for their fierce anthems and hyper-confidence. In a little over two years, aespa has become one of the leading girl groups of their generation. Their sinuous hit single "Next Level" topped the charts in South Korea in 2021 and catapulated them to global fame. Indicative of the group's eclectic sound, "Next Level" fused elements of electronic music and funk, and the song became so popular, it was played in noraebangs and wedding halls across the country. Its follow-up, the no. 1 single "Savage," cemented them as unstoppable, powered by an addictive refrain, hyperpop dance break and WINTER's now-iconic "oh my gosh, don't you know I'm a savage?" Their Savage EP sold more than 1.42 million units in its first week alone. They bested their own record with 2022's Girls, which cracked the Billboard 200 and delivered "Illusion," a potent pre-release track that builds on the group's bold sonic identity and penchant for sticky, hypnotic hooks. Their success transcends the charts. Their faces are all over sheet masks, makeup products, outerwear, fine jewelry, sneakers, finance apps and they're global ambassadors for luxury fashion house Givenchy. Last fall, they attended Paris Fashion Week on behalf of the brand. For GISELLE, whose love of fashion started when she was a headstrong toddler who couldn't be told what to wear, it was a pinch-me moment. She describes the "surreal" experience as a turning point. "I saw so many fans who didn't share the same culture and the same language show their love and support for us," she says. "It made me feel really grateful and happy. There were so many international fans who showed up, and that's when I realized, Wow, our platform and our identity is a lot bigger than I expected.”"That's what motivates us to work really hard at what we do because someone else can look at us and build their dream around us," KARINA adds. "We all grew up as fans of other artists, so we know what it's like."That relationship between an artist and their fans is unlike any other bond. It's impenetrable and all-consuming, prevailing across both real and virtual lines. With their new digital capsule collection — a partnership among luxury e-commerce platform The Dematerialised, PAPER, SM Entertainment and Warner Music Group — aespa is expanding their reach even further into the future frontier of fashion. When it comes to digital fashion, the landscape is its own boundless Kwangya, and it's radicalizing how people interact with their clothes. In the metaverse, designs aren't limited by fabrics and physics. You can express yourself however you want.So aespa co-designed a line of looks, accessories and æ-pets inspired by their own personal tastes, and their fans will soon be able to make them part of their own digital collection."It was really fun being able to have that open creativity and experimenting with different textures and colors and designs that you normally wouldn't be able to apply to actual clothing and fabric," KARINA says. "These are pieces we normally wouldn't be able to wear in the real world." She co-designed an extravagant earpiece, something that wouldn't normally fit on her "really small" ears. WINTER's futuristic hair clips are as delicate and deadly as her image. She calls them bold and experimental, slightly out of her personal comfort zone. GISELLE's choker necklace combines angel wings and devil horns. "I like that they're the same shape drawn from different perspectives," she says. "I don't normally wear necklaces because they can feel uncomfortable, but I think this is a very cute accessory," she adds with a laugh. NINGNING's tie taps into her personal love of Y2K fashion. (She was wearing butterflies before they came back into style.) "I wanted to reinterpret a tie in a metaverse way," she says. "So the texture and the material itself is very new and something that you can only try in the digital world. I wanted to make it really fun and girly by adding a butterfly charm, which represents my identity."KARINA hopes this collaboration inspires their fans to curate their own style in the metaverse. "We learned a lot about digital fashion and the virtual world, which is something that we're constantly exploring as a group," she explains. "Although it's not a super conventional form of fashion that everyone is familiar with, this project is a good opportunity for our fans to learn more about digital fashion and perhaps have the opportunity to try it themselves and create their own designs." The metaverse, like aespa's intradimensional Kwangya, can be difficult to fully grasp. It's more of an experience than a tangible reality — a spectacle so far removed from our mundane existence that it might as well be fodder for one of NINGNING's favorite fairy tales or the star in KARINA's sky unbound by gravity. On Earth, we have limits. That’s what aespa is here to challenge. Because the internet may be an infinite wonder where data and possibility roam freely, but the real world is full of potential. “There's a lot more we're excited to show,” GISELLE says of aespa’s next chapter. All we can do is log on and stand in awe of their glow. Today, Warner Records’ first K-pop act aespa, PAPER, The Dematerialised, SM Entertainment and Warner Music Group have released their digital capsule collection, alongside the unveiling of their first PAPER cover. The collection is available at TheDematerialised.com. The digital capsule collection co-designed by aespa, PAPER and The Dematerialised includes three tiers of products. Items from the digital capsule collection are available for purchase via credit card or cryptocurrency payments. The most exclusive pieces from the collection are four, one-of-a-kind æ-fits. Each æ-fit is designed around the members of aespa — KARINA, WINTER, GISELLE and NINGNING — and worn by each member on the five PAPER covers rolling out this week. Each æ-fit comes with a ticket to an aespa concert, exclusive PAPER digital cover, bespoke virtual dressings inclusive of an AR filter and additional perks from DMAT. There is only one of each design and four designs in total, each priced at 2,000 EUR.GISELLEGISELLEKARINAKARINANINGNINGNINGNINGWINTERWINTERThe next tier of the virtual collection consists of four æ-accessories. Created around each aespa members’ signature symbols, the individual æ-accessories are an anti-gravity collection of powerful bijouterie. All æ-accessories come with an AR filter to wear the piece, an exclusive PAPER digital cover and additional perks from DMAT. There is a supply of 200 for each accessory and each is priced at 100 EUR.GISELLEGISELLEKARINAKARINANINGNINGNINGNINGWINTERWINTERThe widest available component to the digital capsule collection are unique generative æ-pets. Inspired by the first alien featured in the 1998 “Dreams Come True” music video by S.E.S. and reimagined by aespa, each æ-pet is uniquely generated by AI algorithm. Owners of the æ-pets can use them as a profile picture, play with their unique filter on TikTok and Instagram, and share their special powers online. These one-of-a-kind friends are here to make your metaverse journey extra mægical. There are 10,000 unique generative æ-pets, each priced at 20 EUR.GISELLEKARINANINGNINGWINTERThe project is minted on the Polygon blockchain, a leading carbon-neutral Layer-2 Ethereum scaling platform. The Twilight Lords : Elizabeth I and the Plunder of Ireland June 25, 2002
"One of the very best books on Elizabethan Ireland. A must read for pro-Irish folk. It should be a grave embarrassment to the English."
2/17/2023 From the Jerusalem Crusade to the Holy Grail to the death of JFK
"In 1580, the prospect of this apocalypse coming to Ireland was so serious it prompted the Holy See in Rome to send an army of Italians and Spaniards to help the Fitzgeralds under the authority drafted by the "Just War Doctrine."
As described by Richard Berleth, author of The Twilight Lords: Elizabeth I and the First Irish Holocaust, the Fitzgeralds' struggle against Renaissance Neoplatonism offers a window into a thousand-year-old factional struggle of a European "deep-state" rooted in a Gnostic belief system with the Fitzgerald family providing the required Manichean evil of the day and Elizabeth I and her Red Cross Templar knights the Christian purity in the tradition of King Arthur and the Round Table.
It is of no small importance that the assassination of Gerald Fitzgerald , the last Earl of Desmond, in 1583, marked the beginning of the British Empire. The eternal struggle of good against evil, the ancient Iranian war of light against dark by design required a victory over the darkness, and the Earl of Desmond filled that sacred role. As was the custom at the time, his decapitated head was sent to London where legend has it Queen Elizabeth sat with it for the morning before having it impaled on London Bridge.
With the incorporation of the Public/Private partnership known as the British East India Company in 1600, Elizabeth's victory would be spread around the world. Elizabeth's favorite courtier Walter Raleigh would sail to America and establish the colony that came to be named Virginia for the "Virgin Queen."
The East India Company would establish trading posts from India to America and create such economic oppression it would trigger the American Revolution. Despite its loss of American colonies, the company would make its founding families rich beyond dreams of avarice and make the English language universal and English culture the standard by which all other cultures would be judged. But the competition with Rome and the suspicion over its motives would never stop.
In the 400-plus years since Elizabeth I's time, much of what was once deemed heretical by Church authorities has become commonplace. The feudal society that the Irish Twilight Lords died to preserve was already obsolete by Elizabethan times and would have vanished with or without them. The empire created by Elizabeth's courtiers ruled much of the earth for four centuries and was passed on to the United States for a brief reprise before losing its purpose. But the eternal struggle of good against evil, the war of light against dark continues and whether real or imagined, the revenge for the Templars sacrifice lingers on, periodically revealing itself through correspondences and coincidences that can't be denied.
On November 22, 1963, Americans were shocked by the public execution of their President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy."

Tim’s Favorite Movie Project: Willow
Willow (1987)
Directed by Ron Howard
Starring Val Kilmer, Joanne Whalley, and Warwick Davis
Released May 20, 1987
Plot: When farmer and wannabe sorcerer Willow (Warwick Davis) finds a mysterious baby tucked in a makeshift raft in a river near his home, it sets him on a quest to return the baby to whoever it belongs to. Little does he know the child is Elora Danan, prophesied as some sort of savior of the world, and he is her chosen guardian. As he navigates the outside world, Willow attracts a ragtag group of fellow adventurers, including swordsman Madmartigan (Val Kilmer) and Princess Sorsha (Joanne Whalley). Together, they must overcome an evil sorceress and her armies, hell bent on world domination and the destruction of Elora Danan.
One of my favorites because: The pitch for Willow may as well be “Lord of the Rings” meets Star Wars, and it more than lives up to the high bar set by those epics – especially by the standard of 1988, a mere five years after Return of the Jedi and more than a decade before The Phantom Menace or Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. The characters begin as archetypes, but through smart writing and great performances, they quickly become distinct and unforgettable heroes and villains. The production is richly designed, from the sets and costumes to the visual effects. The action is big and exciting, but also brutal and dirty – it’s an epic adventure that exists in a world smeared with mud and splashed with blood. And it’s the hard edge of the film that makes it especially important as a gateway movie for older kids and pre-teens. It never feels as though the film is pulling any punches, as characters die, sometimes shockingly, and the villains threats to kill an infant feel very real. Like Lucasfilm’s own Indiana Jones series or Amblin’s Gremlins, Willow lets younger viewers dip their toes in more mature, scarier material without leaving behind the safety net of the fantasy and humor they’re more used to. I also can’t write about Willow without mentioning James Horner’s fantastic score, which immediately brings tears to my eyes.
My relationship to this movie: Willow was released on VHS on November 22, 1988, so it was probably in late 1989 or sometime in 1990 that I first saw it. I don't know where or why they bought it, but the VHS was one of a small handful of movies mom and dad owned (or bought for us). I watched it over, and over, and over again. The death of the nurse maid at the beginning of the movie so thoroughly disturbed me that I would leave the room during that part and listen for when it was safe to come back. We would play Willow outside - it was awesome to find a stick that looked just right to be Cherlindrea's wand! - and I collected the "action figures." (The Willow toy line sucked, in hindsight. It consisted of unarticulated, plastic molded statues fastened to die cast bases. There were deluxe figures that were on horseback - all the horses were the same, just different colors. The scale was all off - Willow was as tall as Madmartigan, and the death dog was almost as big as the horses. It was like playing with chess pieces.) When Willow was released on DVD in November of 2001, I bought it as soon as I could get to a Best Buy. That happened to be in Indianapolis, IN the first week in December, when I was there for a National Catholic Youth Conference. I was thrilled to finally see the film in Widescreen, to experience what I considered to be the apex of fantasy filmmaking - until The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring was released a couple weeks later. I don't believe that Willow could have existed without Tolkien's work, and even though the films were released 13 years apart,I'm sure its success paved the way for Peter Jackson's trilogy - even if, by comparison, the armies and sieges in Willow look a tad silly.
My favorite _________: Willow is my favorite sword and sorcery fantasy film.
List Position at Debut: Willow is the second entry in this project and starts out at number two.
